Everton consider Jarrod Bowen this summer

Everton are preparing an ambitious summer move for West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen as David Moyes looks to reshape his squad ahead of the new campaign. The Toffees are expected to invest heavily once the season concludes, and Bowen has emerged as one of the club’s leading attacking targets.

Much could depend on West Ham‘s Premier League status. If the Hammers suffer relegation, there is growing belief that several senior players could be made available in order to reduce the wage bill and finance a rebuild. Bowen would naturally attract major interest from across England, but Everton believe their connection with Moyes could give them an advantage.

Moyes worked closely with Bowen during his spell at the London Stadium and was instrumental in helping the winger develop into one of the Premier League’s most productive forwards. Under the Scottish manager, Bowen became a consistent source of goals and assists while also establishing himself as a full England international. Everton feel that relationship could play a major role if West Ham are forced into difficult financial decisions this summer.

Bowen has once again been one of West Ham‘s standout performers this season. Despite the club’s struggles near the bottom of the table, the 29-year-old has continued to deliver in the final third with important goals, direct running and relentless work-rate. Everton have lacked that level of attacking quality for several years and view Bowen as the type of signing capable of transforming their forward line immediately.

The move would not come cheaply. Even in a relegation scenario, West Ham are expected to demand a significant fee for their captain, particularly given his contract situation and importance to the squad. However, Everton‘s new ownership group are believed to be ready to back Moyes in the transfer market as the club prepares for a new era.
