Liverpool planning approach for Jarrod Bowen

Liverpool could compete with Aston Villa to sign West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen this summer.

The Reds are determined to recruit a marquee right winger after the free transfer exit of Mohamed Salah.

They were touted to sign RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, but the Ivorian has decided to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool are now looking at possible alternatives, and Bowen is one of the top names on their transfer shortlist.

Bowen has been a key player for the Hammers over the years, and he made 23 goal contributions last campaign.

Despite his exploits, West Ham were relegated from the Premier League after a 14-year stay.

Villa have recently explored a deal for the attacker, and it appears Liverpool are likewise planning an approach for him.

West Ham have yet to open discussions with any club, but it is claimed that they could demand £50m for his services.

Bowen has his sights on returning to the Premier League and is unlikely to entertain playing in the Championship.
