Harlequins have signed Australian prop Harry Johnson-Holmes for the 2026-27 season.

The 29-year-old, who won a Test cap in 2019, arrives after spells in Super Rugby with New South Wales Waratahs and Western Force.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Harlequins for the upcoming season,” Johnson-Holmes told the club website, external.

“Having worked with [head coach] Jason [Gilmore] before, I’ve seen first-hand the impact he has on a playing group, and I can’t wait to work with him again.”

The pair know each other well from the four years they spent together at Waratahs, when Gilmore was assistant coach and defence coach, with a brief spell as interim head coach.

“Harry is an experienced operator who brings quality and versatility to our front row,” Gilmore said.

“His ability to play on both sides of the scrum gives us valuable flexibility and depth, and his Super Rugby pedigree will no doubt add to our group.”
