Real Madrid are reportedly pushing to secure an agreement with RB Leipzig for winger Yan Diomande.

The Ivory Coast star joined Leipzig from Leganes last summer and had a brilliant debut campaign with 26 goal contributions.

He has been touted to pursue a bigger challenge this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain are his preferred destination, but they have not agreed payment terms with Leipzig thus far.

This has opened the door for other clubs. Arsenal and Manchester City have contacted his agents to assess his situation.

However, Madrid are working the most to land him and have already had an opening bid worth â‚¬100m turned down.

Leipzig want around â‚¬120m for the 19-year-old, but Madrid remain confident of signing him for slightly less.

Arsenal recently suffered a huge setback as Chelsea beat them to the signature of Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers.

Rogers was the prime left-wing target for the Gunners, and it appears they could miss out on Diomande pretty soon.
