Liverpool are considering a surprise move for Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye as they seek to strengthen their wide attacking options ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

The Reds parted ways with Mohamed Salah on a free transfer this summer, and they have yet to land a marquee right winger to replace the legendary forward in their squad.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola has been the prime target for the Reds. They have agreed on personal terms, but the asking price is proving a major stumbling block for now.

PSG are reluctant to accept anything less than £145 million for the Frenchman, while Liverpool are not looking to pay more than £100m for the former Lyon graduate.

This has forced the Reds’ hierarchy to start contemplating alternatives, and it is claimed that Ndiaye is one of the names being considered. The Senegalese ace could be signed for £75m.

Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal have expressed an interest in paying the huge transfer fee for his services, but Ndiaye plans to stay in the Premier League and has snubbed a big contract.
