Arsenal have been handed a fresh injury blow ahead of the Carabao Cup third-round tie against Ipswich Town on the road tomorrow.
The Gunners have had a brilliant start to the season with six straight wins and will be aiming to extend the streak against Ipswich at Portman Road.
Ahead of the game, they have received a setback with right-back Ben White absent from training. He was struggling with a groin issue against Sunderland last weekend and was substituted at the half-time interval.
His absence in training today clearly suggests that he won’t be fit enough to feature for the Gunners against the Tractor Boys tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Jurrien Timber has only recently returned from injury. The Dutchman played as the right-back after White was taken off.
He may be handled with extra caution after his first appearance of any form since May and may not start against Ipswich away from home.
Club graduate Marli Salmon could be tasked with playing at right-back.
