Confirmed Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Brighton, Heaven starts

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has named his starting line-up for the Carabao Cup third-round tie against Brighton & Hove Albion tonight.

The Red Devils suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss to Manchester City last weekend and will be aiming to return to winning ways against Brighton.

Ahead of the game, Carrick has made eight changes to the starting XI.

Karl Darlow makes his debut between the sticks ahead of Senne Lammens.

There are three changes to the backline. Diogo Dalot keeps his place at right-back. Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven feature in central defence, with Noussair Mazraoui at left-back.

In central midfield, Youri Tielemans has a new partner in Andrey Santos. Mason Mount will operate in the attacking midfield department ahead of club captain Bruno Fernandes.

Shea Lacey starts on the right wing with Marcus Rashford on the left wing, while Benjamin Sesko will lead the line for the Mancunian giants.
