Those hoping to go to Glastonbury Festival 2027 could soon find out their fate as the first set of tickets go on sale.

The event will take place from 23-27 June 2027 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, after a fallow year in 2026.

Coach tickets will be available to buy for £408 plus the selected coach fare at 18:00 BST on Thursday, before general admission tickets go on sale at 09:00 on Sunday.

Coaches will depart from 28 locations across the country including from London, Bristol, Bath, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester and Cardiff.

People who want to snag a ticket must have already pre-registered on the Glastonbury Festival website.

In recent years, organisers have introduced an automatic queuing system on the day of sale, with fans needing to be online before the start of the sale with a valid registration number.

Registration closed on 25 September, and will not reopen until after the October ticket sales.

Once on the other side of the queue, people can buy up to six tickets per transaction after paying a deposit.

Anyone who missed the registration deadline or is not able to buy a ticket on Thursday can have another chance during the spring resale.

While the headliners for next year’s festival have not yet been confirmed, Emily Eavis has said Oasis are not due to play despite speculation from fans.

The band announced a series of 2027 gigs across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US last week, leaving a potentially Glastonbury-shaped hole in their calendar.

But Eavis put those rumours to bed in a direct response to one Glastonbury-goer on social media.
