Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed a fresh injury concern ahead of the Premier League clash against Hull City at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners continued their good start to the campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League last night.

In the same game, Ezri Konsa was substituted shortly after the hour mark and Arteta confirmed that the decision was more than just tactical.

It was initially suggested that he was subbed off due to his yellow card but Arteta clarified that he had some concerns and had to be taken off.

It remains to be seen whether Konsa is deemed fit for Saturday.

Konsa has been the regular centre-back partner for Gabriel Magalhaes in William Saliba‘s injury absence. Saliba has now returned to full training.

The Frenchman was an unused substitute against Slavia but he could make his first appearance of the campaign after injury against the Tigers.

It won’t be a surprise if Saliba makes the starting XI.
