Arsenal attacker Ethan Nwaneri has no plans to pursue a new challenge away from the Premier League before the transfer deadline, according to Sky Sports.

The 19-year-old had a bright pre-season with the Gunners, but he is currently not in the starting plans of manager Mikel Arteta due to the fierce competition from Martin Odegaard and Eberechi Eze for the number 10 role.

Arteta has opened the door to a loan move for the young graduate, but as things stand, Nwaneri does not want an overseas deal after his frustrating experience with Marseille during the back end of the previous campaign.

The youngster prefers to stay and fight for his spot at the Gunners unless a Premier League offer arrives. Fulham were linked with him earlier this summer and could emerge as a possible destination in the near future.

Arsenal are preparing for plenty of exits before the transfer deadline. Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira could all be sold before the window closes at 11pm on Tuesday.
