Arsenal have finally reached a verbal agreement with Club Brugge to land winger Christos Tzolis, according to journalist David Ornstein.

The Greek had a sensational 2025/26 season with the Belgian champions. He netted 22 goals and provided 29 assists across all competitions for them.

His performances caught the eye of several elite European clubs, but Tzolis was quite clear that he wanted to join the Gunners over anyone else.

Arsenal have now agreed to sign the 24-year-old for around Â£34 million and he is expected to travel to north London to complete the formalities.

Tzolis has already been training with Brugge in pre-season and has played three friendlies. Hence, he is already fit and should link up straightaway.

Irrespective of the deal, Arsenal are poised to land a marquee left winger. Aston Villa‘s Morgan Rogers is the prime target for the English champions.

Rogers has already given the green light for a transfer to the Gunners and talks are expected to start with the Villans to secure an agreement.
