Arsenal have suffered a massive injury blow during the ongoing Premier League clash against Sunderland.

The Gunners have had a perfect start to the season, but they have now seen Ben White pick up an untimely injury.

White sustained a groin issue prior to the half-time interval, and he has been replaced by Jurrien Timber after the break.

Manager Mikel Arteta will provide an update on White soon, but it appears he could be out of action for some time.

White missed England’s World Cup campaign due to a knee injury, and he could miss out for his country once more.

England play Spain, Croatia and Czech Republic in the Nations League during the newly extended international break.

While White may not be selected, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, Declan Rice, Ezri Konsa and Myles Lewis-Skelly could be picked.

Arsenal still have to face Ipswich Town and Brighton & Hove Albion before the players move on for international duty.
