Bath’s Boxing Day Prem Rugby fixture with Leicester Tigers has been moved to Sunday, 27 December.

The game – in round eight of the Prem – had been due to take place at 15:05 GMT at the Recreation Ground.

But it has been moved to 17:30 GMT a day later due to travel restrictions across the city – there are no rail or Park and Ride services running on Boxing Day in Bath.

There will still be two games on Boxing Day, which falls on a Saturday this year, as Bristol host Newcastle Red Bulls at 15:00 GMT and Gloucester travel to Sale at 17:30 GMT.

Bath’s game with Leicester will now kick-off after the 15:05 GMT clash between Exeter and Saracens at Sandy Park, while Harlequins host champions Northampton Saints on Monday, 28 December.
