Chelsea have been offered the opportunity to land AC Milan winger Rafael Leao, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Blues spent a club-record transfer fee to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa earlier this summer. The Englishman can comfortably play as a left winger or from the number 10 position.

Despite this, the west London giants continue to be linked with wide attackers, and Gazzetta cite that Leao’s representatives have contacted the Blues regarding the Portuguese’s availability.

Chelsea have been long-term admirers of the 27-year-old winger, who has opened the door for a new challenge in a different league after seven years at Milan. He has publicly said the same.

Milan are not desperate to part ways with the left-wing specialist, but they are ready to sell him for the right price. The Rossoneri could be willing to sanction his sale for around Â£51 million.

Arsenal and Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the winger in the past, but are no longer pursuing a deal for him.
