Leicester back row Ilione out until 2027

Leicester Tigers back row Emeka Ilione has been ruled out until “at least” the end of 2026.
The 24-year-old has not played since January because of a shoulder injury.
Meanwhile, lock Harry Palmer, 20, will not feature until November after undergoing a knee operation.
“Unfortunately, Emeka’s shoulder injury is complex and hasn’t recovered as we hoped,” head coach Geoff Parling told the club website., external
“He will see the specialist again in November, but for now we know that he will be out until at least the New Year.”
