Leicester Tigers have signed Tonga international hooker Sam Moli.
The New Zealand-born forward has joined after leaving Super Rugby side Moana Pasifika after they disbanded following financial issues earlier this year.
Moli, 27, made 47 appearances in four years with Moana Pasifika and has won 27 caps for Tonga since his debut in 2021.
“Sam comes and adds some quality and depth to our hooking options,” said Tigers head coach Geoff Parling.
“He’s a big body and strong scrummager and someone we believe will suit the game in the Prem.
“He knows he’s got to make sure he’s ready to make the most of this opportunity and we look forward to him arriving.”
