Darts champion Luke Littler is to front a new Netflix series that will see him play against everyday darts players.

Beat Luke Littler will be a live darts event in which anybody can enter, with 20 people ultimately being chosen to take part.

In a video message announcing the event,, external which takes place on 30 October, Littler says: “Reckon you could beat me in a game of darts? Let’s go.”

Members of the public who challenge the 19-year-old on the show will have a chance to win £501,000.

The jackpot is a reference to the 501 points that players work down from in darts as they aim for a score of zero.

Open regional heats will be held in London and Manchester in September for those who want to be in with a chance of beating Littler.

Littler’s video message sees him reading social media messages from people claiming they could beat him.

Anybody aged 12 and over can apply for the series, although those aged under 18 attending open auditions must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Littler himself was 16 years old when he shot to fame in 2024, with an historic run to the final of the PDC World Darts Championship in January that year.

He went on to win the Premier League and Grand Slam of Darts, and last January he became the youngest world number one at the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship aged 17.

Hopefuls are asked a series of questions in the application form, such as how long have they been playing darts and why they think they could beat Littler.

It comes after Littler beat Gerwyn Price 18-9 to retain his Betfred World Matchplay title in Blackpool on Sunday.

Littler set a new record for the final with an average of 111.53, lifting his average for the tournament as a whole to 111.04 to break Phil Taylor’s previous high mark of 106.31.

The champion hit 12 in the final to reach 66 for the week, breaking his own competition record for 180s.

The win keeps Littler on course for a clean sweep of trophies this year, having already won the World Championship, UK Open, Premier League and the Masters.
