Manchester United midfielder Carlos Baleba could make his club debut during Sunday’s Premier League clash against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
The Cameroon international signed for the Red Devils from Brighton & Hove Albion for £70 million this summer despite being sidelined with an ankle issue.
He has yet to make his debut for the Red Devils as a result, but could do so tomorrow, having travelled with the team to west London earlier today.
In his pre-match press conference, United manager Michael Carrick acknowledged that there is a chance that Baleba could feature on Sunday.
The former Lille man is highly unlikely to make the starting XI after a lengthy injury lay-off, but could at least feature off the bench.
United have lacked strong defensive resolve in the centre of the park, and the return of Baleba should provide a huge boost going forward.
Youri Tielemans and Kobbie Mainoo are most likely to start in central midfield against Fulham, but Baleba could come in as a substitute.
