Manchester United are not contemplating an approach for former Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils have been touted to land a new midfielder during the ongoing transfer window, and Loftus-Cheek has been named as a possible target.
Aston Villa have already made an offer for the AC Milan star, but there has been no contact between the Red Devils and the Rossoneri, as per Romano.
The England international has vast Premier League experience from his time at Chelsea as well as Crystal Palace, where he spent time on loan.
Loftus-Cheek was in the Three Lions picture earlier in his career, and a return to the Premier League could boost his World Cup selection hopes.
As things stand, United don’t seem keen on landing his services.
Villa, on the other hand, are pushing for him after injuries to midfielders John McGinn, Boubacar Kamara, Ross Barkley as well as Amadou Onana.
