Manchester United are reportedly exploring a short-term loan deal for former Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The Red Devils are keen on reinforcing the midfield department this winter, but they are not planning any permanent signings.
United prefer to wait for the next permanent manager. The hierarchy are therefore exploring the loan window at the current point.
Teamtalk claim that the club have their sights on landing Loftus-Cheek from Milan and negotiations are underway on the player’s side.
The Red Devils plan to propose a loan deal for the former Chelsea graduate, who is open to a possible Premier League return.
With the World Cup coming up next summer, Loftus-Cheek may want to prove himself in the Premier League to break into the England squad.
He previously played under manager Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea and there could be a possible reunion at the international level if he excels.
Al-Hilal Ruben Neves has also been linked with United, but the club have no desire to land him on a permanent basis at the moment.
Neves’ current deal with Al-Hilal expires on June 30.
