Manchester United are expected to be without seven senior players for the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Red Devils have had a dismal start to the new league campaign and have picked up only five points from as many matches.

The pressure is already on manager Michael Carrick, and he could be dismissed from the helm if he can’t turn things around.

Ahead of Saturday’s encounter, Carrick has plenty to worry about in terms of injuries, and he could be without as many as seven players.

Noussair Mazraoui and Patrick Dorgu sustained injuries during the international break, and they are confirmed to be sidelined.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Sesko, Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo withdrew from international duty with injuries and have not recovered.

Amad Diallo and Matthijs de Ligt have been ruled out from the start of the campaign, and there are no signs that they will be fit for Saturday.

Despite this, United should fancy their chances of beating Spurs, who have lacked cohesion on the pitch after wholesale summer signings.
