Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson does not plan to push for a move away from the Blues this summer.

The Senegal international had a strained relationship with former Blues manager Enzo Maresca and was loaned to Bayern Munich last summer.

He fared decently for the German champions with 10 goals, but they decided against a permanent deal. Jackson will now return to Chelsea.

Jackson is presently with his national side at the World Cup. On his return, he plans to link up with his Chelsea teammates for pre-season.

The former Villarreal man is prepared to hold face-to-face talks with new boss Xabi Alonso and believes he could be useful for the club next term.

Alonso has more decision-making power than his predecessors, and he could have the final say on the Senegalese’s future at the Blues.

There is a possibility that Jackson could continue at Chelsea. Liam Delap and Marc Guiu could be shown the exit door instead of him.
