Paris Saint-Germain are lining up a surprise move for Manchester United centre-back Leny Yoro as they seek a long-term competitor to Marquinhos.

Marquinhos has been a brilliant player for the European champions over the past 13 years, but his workload needs to be managed going forward.

PSG want to bring in a young competitor and have been impressed by Yoro after his wonderful debut for France against Belgium earlier this month.

The 20-year-old has endured a tough career with the Red Devils, but he remains highly regarded, given his huge potential and track record at Lille.

Yoro has recently started as a right-back for Michael Carrick‘s side, but the youngster obviously sees his long-term future as a central defender.

PSG are reportedly keeping tabs on his situation and it is claimed that they could make a formal approach to bring him back to France next summer.

Yoro is currently happy plying his trade for United, but he has not ruled out the possibility of returning home if an opportunity arises in future.
