Worcester Warriors have signed three more players ahead of next season, including Newcastle Red Bulls forward John Hawkins.

The 29-year-old has made 35 appearances for Newcastle since joining them from Jersey three years ago, following a previous spell with Bristol Bears.

“The club showed a lot of faith in me after Jersey went bust, and I’ll forever be proud to have represented the region. The club is in a really exciting spot, I look forward to watching it progress,” Hawkins told the club website.

The Warriors have also added Leicester Tigers prop Cam Miell, who has played 11 games for them this season during a loan spell, and Loughborough University’s Owain Evans.

South African-born Miell was awarded a senior contract by Tigers for this season, having made his debut for them in the Prem Cup in 2024.

“I’m exciting to continue growing both as a player and a person amongst such a great group of boys,” he said.

“I can’t wait to see how much we can achieve as a team next season.”

Warriors are currently fourth in the Champ table ahead of Saturday’s final game of the season away to Coventry.
