Why we love it: Unique design, hot tub, convenient location, barbecue, gas fireplace, wraparound deck
There’s nothing quite like this Airbnb for a worthwhile weekend in Lake George. It’s a perfect mix of playful and design-forward, with a unique, tall layout that’s home to a sprawling bedroom filled with windows that look out over the mountains and campsites. While just a five-minute drive to Lake George and its village center, don’t forget to take advantage of all the perks right at home. From May to October, enjoy a post-hike rejuvenation session in the outdoor wood-fire hot tub, take in the views from your wraparound deck, or fire up a meal on the barbecue.
Inside, there are pops of color everywhere, from the kitchenette with a retro-inspired red Galanz fridge and deep blue shelving to a forest green–painted standing shower. It’s an oasis rooted in the surrounding nature, with an outdoor vinyl player, board games, a firepit, and shared pool access. Previous guests have raved about the spot, having enjoyed mini moons to more casual, nature-forward getaways here. Some say they’re already planning to return just to visit the goats near the property; others still daydream about their time here, saying: “even the rainy days felt magical with 360-degree views right from our bedroom.”
