There’s plenty of games to get excited about in Europe for the 2026/27 season
Cardiff Rugby will face Bath, Northampton Saints, Montpellier and Stade Francais in a mouthwatering Investec Champions Cup pool.
The Welsh club have also been drawn in the same group as the Bulls but sides in the same domestic competition cannot play each other in the pool stages.
Corniel van Zyl’s side are Wales’ only representative in next season’s Champions Cup.

They will play two games at home and two on the road with the exact fixtures set to be announced at a later date.
The first fixture will take place on the weekend of October 16-18 with round two on December 11-13, round three on January 8-10 and round four on January 15-17.
The top three teams in all four pools will progress to the round of 16 automatically, while the remaining four places will go to the next-best teams across the competition.
Cardiff will be hopeful of attracting some bumper crowds to the Arms Park, especially with Bath and English champions Northampton in their pool.
Over in the Challenge Cup the Scarlets have been drawn in the same pool as Wayne Pivac’s Benetton, Newcastle Red Bulls, the Hollywoodbets Sharks, Lyon and Castres.
The Ospreys are in Pool three alongside Edinburgh, Black Lion, Harlequins, Toulon and Vannes.
Filo Tiatia’s Dragons have been drawn in the same pool as the Cheetahs, Ulster, Perpignan, Bayonne and Zebre Parma.
Last season the Dragons were Wales’ best performers in the Challenge Cup, beating French giants Stade Francais in Paris in the round of 16 before going down fighting at Montpellier in the semi-finals.
