England face South Africa in their Nations Championship opener this weekend, but the Test won’t be shown on ITV1. Here’s where you can watch it live
England kick off their Nations Championship campaign against world champions South Africa this weekend, with Steve Borthwick’s side facing a daunting trip to Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
The Springboks have named a formidable line-up featuring Siya Kolisi, Eben Etzebeth and Cheslin Kolbe, while England have again opted to use exciting youngster Henry Pollock as an impact replacement.
However, fans tuning in on Saturday afternoon might be surprised to find the match isn’t being shown on ITV1.

South Africa take on England on Saturday, July 4 at Ellis Park, Johannesburg.
Kick-off is 4.40pm BST.
What TV channel is South Africa v England on?
The match will be shown live and free-to-air on ITV4, rather than ITV1.
ITV has opted to keep its regular Saturday afternoon schedule on its main channel, with Tipping Point: Best Ever Finals airing before the national and regional news.
ITV1 will then switch its attention to football, with coverage of the World Cup round-of-16 clash between Canada and Morocco beginning at 5.15pm BST, ahead of the 6pm kick-off in Houston.
Coverage of South Africa v England on ITV4 starts at 4.20pm BST.
