A seven-year-old from Sydney, Australia has gone viral after a video of him performing an original song was posted on his dad’s social media.

Miles Phillips and his dad Joel sat down with the BBC’s Outside Source to talk about the impact of the viral hit Eastern Rosellas.

Miles said the song was inspired by a visit with his family to Raymond Island where the colourful Eastern Rosella stood out to him.

The song’s popularity a “surreal moment” Joel said.
