Liverpool have signed Spanish midfielder Natalia Ramos from CD Tenerife Femenino, subject to visa approval and international clearance.

The 27-year-old becomes the Reds’ sixth signing of the summer after completing a permanent move from the Liga F club.

Ramos made more than 200 appearances for Tenerife, including 30 in Spain’s top flight last season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists.

“I’m really, really happy,” Ramos said. “I’m very excited to achieve this new step in my life and I’m very grateful for this new opportunity.

“For me it was a very easy decision and I’m very, very happy, with a lot of feelings and emotions because I know who the club is, the respect [it has].

“I feel very happy and privileged to take this shirt and sign at the club.”

Ramos has represented Spain at Under-17 and Under-19 level and was part of the squad that won the 2017 Women’s European Under-19 Championship in Northern Ireland.

She follows Mao Itamura, Vivien Endemann, Sara Agrez, Mari Ward and Khiara Keating in joining Liverpool this summer.
