Ipswich Town have signed Serbia midfielder Sasa Lukic from Fulham for an undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old, who made 26 Premier League appearances last season, has signed a contract until 2030.

“I can’t wait to play here as a home player,” he said.

Lukic is the second player to make the switch from Fulham this summer, joining Morocco defender Issa Diop in the move to the Suffolk club.

Lukic joined Fulham from Torino in January 2023 and made a total of 106 appearances for the Cottagers.

“I have played at Portman Road before in the Premier League and the atmosphere was one of the best I have experienced,” Lukic said.

Lukic has won 62 caps for Serbia and represented his country at the 2022 World Cup and 2024 European Championship.

“Sasa is a player who brings real experience to the squad heading into the new season,” said manager Gary O’Neil.

“Having played nearly 100 games in the Premier League, he knows what it takes to compete in the division and has been a consistent performer throughout his time at Fulham,” O’Neil added.

At Italian club Torino, Lukic made 168 appearances over seven seasons and scored 14 goals.
