Arsenal have opened the door to parting ways with Ethan Nwaneri before the transfer window closes this summer.
The Gunners have a huge squad at the moment and Nwaneri was one of those excluded for the Community Shield alongside Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus.
Martinelli and Jesus are widely expected to be sold before the transfer deadline and The Athletic claim that Nwaneri could likewise move on pretty soon.
Arsenal are aware of the immense potential that Nwaneri possesses but also acknowledge that his development could be hampered by a lack of playing time.
Hence, they are prepared to entertain his permanent sale to another European outfit, but would certainly demand a buy-back clause as part of the deal.
The Gunners graduate had a good pre-season with the club this summer, but Arteta has given the green light for his departure before the window slams shut.
Alongside Nwaneri, Jesus and Martinelli, Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira are expected to depart on a permanent basis in the coming days.
