Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott has been found guilty of child abuse.

The 49-year-old was accused of lewd and libidinous behaviour towards a girl and a boy between 1993 and 2010.

Dott, who won the sport’s world championship at The Crucible in 2006, had denied the charges.

A judge at the High Court in Glasgow deferred the sentencing to a separate hearing on 29 September in Edinburgh.
