Panoramic views over the Mediterranean Sea and wave upon wave of olive trees hug the landscapes surrounding this peaceful Tuscan farmhouse, with pretty vistas on offer from every room in the house. Cool off when you arrive in the plunge pool, or just sit up beside a lounger and enjoy the ambience courtesy of the trickling waterfall. The village of Metato is sleepy and quaint, but you’re well-placed for buzzier adventures—Pisa, Florence, Lucca, plus the imposing marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio are all under an hour away.
