Ipswich have signed Dutch forward Zian Flemming from Burnley for £20m.

Flemming, 28, has penned a four-year deal with Ipswich.

The striker scored 11 times in the league for Burnley last season, who were relegated. He has netted three in the first four games of this campaign.

Ipswich boss Gary O’Neil said he had an “impressive” first season and he was “very pleased” to have brought him to Ipswich.

O’Neil said: “He has good quality and experience and has started the new season well, so is a great addition to the group as we strengthen the squad further.”

After beating West Ham in August, Burnley boss Nicky Yayen urged Flemming, who joined them from Millwall for £7m in 2025, to stay.

Flemming said he was “proud” to sign for Ipswich, who beat Sunderland 2-1 in their first game after returning to the top flight before being thrashed 5-2 by Manchester United at the weekend.

He said: “I played in the Premier League last season and really enjoyed my first season at the top level, competing against the best players and teams in the world, so I am delighted to now be back in there with a great club like Ipswich.”

Flemming becomes Ipswich’s 12th signing of the summer.
