Liverpool are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde at the turn of the year.
The Reds signed Ronald Araujo from the Catalan giants this summer, and he has proved a fabulous acquisition thus far.
Araujo has made the right-back position his own over the past few games and could cement his spot in the long-term as well.
It is now reported that the Anfield giants could do business with Barcelona this winter, given their good relationship.
Balde has fallen down the pecking order at Barcelona this campaign, and he is behind Joao Cancelo and Xavi Espart at the moment.
He was happy to stay during the summer transfer window but may consider a new challenge after the lack of minutes this campaign.
Liverpool have joined the race for his services, but they are not alone and could face competition from Manchester United and Inter Milan.
Barcelona could sanction his sale for around £34 million.
