Arsenal attacking duo Kai Havertz and Christos Tzolis are expected to miss the Premier League clash against Leeds United with hamstring injuries.

Havertz has had a bright start to the campaign with three goals, but he picked up an unfortunate hamstring injury on Germany duty last month.

Similarly, Tzolis sustained a similar setback playing for Greece. The pair returned to Arsenal early but need more time to recover from their setbacks.

Arsenal are unlikely to take a risk with either player and the duo are widely expected to miss Saturday’s early league kick-off against Leeds at home.

The Gunners suffered a humbling 3-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion on the road before the international break and will seek to make amends.

They won 5-0 and 4-0 against Leeds home and away last season, and will be aiming for another big victory over the Peacocks this weekend.

Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres look poised to replace the injured duo in the starting line-up against Daniel Farke‘s side on Saturday.
