Originally opened in 1927 as the Hotel Georgia, the Rosewood took over in 2011 and significantly upgraded the property. Then again in 2024, it received another renovation overhauling its rooms, public spaces, and culinary program, bringing it to the luxury beacon it is today. This is the place to stay if you want to be pampered. Home to Sense, one of the best spas in the city with extensive treatment menus for both face and body. The jewel of it though is the 52-foot salt water lap pool. Room wise, expect understated luxury with soft tones, high thread count sheets, and pleasant natural light. For the culinarily inclined traveler options abound, six to be exact, that range from the ultra casual grab and go coffee bar, Bel Cafe to the brand new, tawny Georgia Bar. There’s also of course Hawksworth, that’s been on the premises since 2011, with a Canadian contemporary menu helmed by local chef David Hawksworth as well as new rooftop terrace, Reflections, that’s become quite the after-work cocktail and bites scene.
