Frances Tiafoe’s girlfriend Ayan Broomfield is enjoying a vacation in Hawaii, and she has been sharing moments from her trip with her followers. As Tiafoe continues his bid to secure a coveted spot in the 2026 ATP Finals, Broomfield has offered a peek at her chic fashion sense in a fun highlight reel from her holiday.
Broomfield and Frances Tiafoe met in 2015 through a mutual friend, fellow player Victoria Duval, and made the relationship public in 2018. Eleven years in, Broomfield is a familiar face in his player box at the Grand Slams and a constant presence on the road.

After displaying her support at tournaments around the world, Broomfield took a break from the tennis world to enjoy a relaxing vacation in Hawaii. In a fun montage involving her friend, the 29-year-old showcased the stylish bikinis and outfits she wore over the course of the trip while also capturing the stunning tropical views on the island.
“Live laugh love Hawaiiiiiii @hawaiianairlines,” Broomfield captioned her Instagram post.
Frances Tiafoe’s autumn on court has been more difficult. At the Shanghai Masters in October, he beat Yannick Hanfmann 6-4, 6-4 in his opening match, then lost to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 7-6(4), 4-6, 7-6(6) in the third round, squandering a match point in the deciding tiebreak before the Spaniard took the last three points.
The American then lost his opening match at the Vienna Open, suffering a 7-6(6), 7-5 defeat to Lorenzo Musetti.

Frances Tiafoe has spoken at length about what his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, brings to a career that keeps him moving between continents for most of the year. In an interview with ATPTour.com earlier this year, he pointed to the grounding effect of having someone in his corner who reads his matches closely and understands the schedule that comes with them.
“The key to a very successful man, I think it’s a lot of things. But I think number one is a strong woman in your corner. A lot of times, it’ll just ground you… And I think a lot of times, when you don’t have that because you’re all over the map, they can be detail oriented, they kind of paint the picture for you, help guide you to somewhere you’re trying to go. Sometimes they believe in you more than you believe in yourself. And that’s helped me a lot, so shout out to her,” Tiafoe said.
Given Broomfield’s professional tennis background, Tiafoe highlighted the significance of being able to debrief with her after a defeat, at a level few people outside the sport can match.
“But seriously, it’s nice to come home and vent and be like, ‘Man, the match, what do you think?’ Because it’s hard. This sport, it’s hard to really understand it if you’re not really in it. And obviously the lifestyle. So she’s been critical not only for my career, but for my life. She’s so solid. She’s been there for me for so many years, and happy to have her, very important,” he added.
Next on Frances Tiafoe’s calendar is the Rolex Paris Masters, the last Masters 1000 event of the season, where he will need a deep run to keep his hopes of a first ATP Finals appearance in Turin alive. After a first-round bye, the No. 7 seed will face either Quentin Halys or Arthur Fery in his tournament opener.
