Looking back at IShowSpeed’s first season of Speed Goes Pro
The first season of IShowSpeed’s sports reality series, called Speed Goes Pro, started on September 30, 2025. The season consisted of five episodes during which Speed stepped out of his usual streaming environment and tried himself in sports competitions against some of the greatest athletes in professional sports.
In the first episode, Tom Brady, who is known for his NFL career, was Speed’s opponent. During that episode, Speed underwent football training drills by professionals and finally tested his skills on the playing field. Then Speed went to gymnastics, where he trained under Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee and her team composed of Nastia Liukin and Fred Richard.
The third episode was something unexpected for the fans as it involved a competition of Speed in the field of competitive eating. It was the famous Joey Chestnut who became the opponent of Speed at that episode.
The next episode included basketball. There Speed got training from NBA player Kevin Durant and even took part in a two-on-two game with college basketball players.
The last episode took place at the WWE Performance Center and Randy Orton was Speed’s coach there. Sheamus was also one of the opponents of Speed at that episode.
