Arsenal have been handed a timely boost with defender Ezri Konsa deemed fit for the Premier League clash against Hull City at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow.

The England international has been a key player for the Gunners since his summer switch from Aston Villa and has provided tremendous cover for the injured William Saliba.

He recently suffered a minor knee issue against Slavia Prague in the Champions League, but he has returned to full training and looks poised to start against the Tigers.

Saliba has also returned to training after a lengthy back injury, but the Frenchman is most likely to feature off the bench at best tomorrow.

The centre-back is likely to build his fitness at the club during the international break and could be a regular starter after the restart.

Konsa is likely to be displaced from central defence when Saliba returns, but there is a possibility that he could operate as a right-back.
