US President Donald Trump has told world leaders at Davos that he will not use “excessive force” to take Greenland.
“We probably won’t get anything unless I decide to use excessive strength and force, where we would be frankly unstoppable. But I won’t do that,” Trump said at the World Economic Forum.
Trump previously said he would add a 10% tariff to goods from eight European countries that oppose his plan to take over the Danish territory
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer told MPs in London that he would not “yield” to pressure from the US president on Greenland.
