A popular AEW star recently revealed that she is set to make a non-wrestling appearance in her home country. She is pregnant, and therefore she has been out of action for most of 2026. Hence, fans are excited about this appearance.
The star is none other than Jessie McKay. In August, McKay announced that she is pregnant, and she will be going on a hiatus from in-ring competition in professional wrestling. However, the former WWE star is appearing ringside for her tag team partner Cassie Lee in Ring of Honor. Amid all that, Jessie announced that she will be heading to Brisbane for a meet-and-greet session with her fans.
World Series Wrestling, which is an Australia-based wrestling promotion, is set for a tour this week. It will be called WSW Megamania and will feature some prominent names from professional wrestling. So, in one of the promotional posts by WSW on X, Jessie McKay revealed that she will also be part of the Brisbane meet-and-greet session for WSW. She made it clear that fans can meet The IInspiration, which means Cassie Lee will also be in the house with her.
“I’ll be at the Brisbane meet & greet on Friday!! Come meet The IInspiration,” wrote McKay.
Jessie McKay’s last match in AEW was in March this year
Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee made their debuts for All Elite Wrestling in February this year, during the company’s tour to Australia. Their arrival managed to bring a lot of attention to the Jacksonville-based promotion. Therefore, fans were excited to see what McKay and Lee would be doing in AEW.
Following their first appearance, the former WWE stars faced Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter in a tag team match on the March 3rd episode of Dynamite. Windsor and Hayter are two of the most dominant women in AEW right now. Therefore, The IInspiration failed to pick up the win against them.
McKay and Lee have not competed in any match on All Elite Wrestling TV after that. They were moved to Ring of Honor, where they are playing an integral role in the women’s division. Only time will tell when the former WWE stars will make their return to AEW TV down the line.
