AEW Star Dresses Up As His Controversial Ex-Partner For Halloween

AEW is having a great year. Their recent WrestleDream pay-per-view was a huge success, and they are currently preparing for AEW Full Gear 2026. The upcoming pay-per-view will take place on November 14. Interestingly, a popular wrestler in the company recently cosplayed his former tag team partner.

The now-defunct Acclaimed consisted of Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and Billy Gunn. Caster and Bowens were the main in-ring performers. Meanwhile, the WWE legend wrestled occasionally or managed the team. They held the World Tag Team Titles once and the World Trios Titles once. Bowens and Gunn are still signed to the Tony Khan-led promotion. However, Caster recently left the company. Nevertheless, Caster and Bowens are close in real life. The latter cosplayed the former on Halloween.

The 35-year-old shared a video of himself in the Best Wrestler Alive’s outfit.

“Yo! Listen! Happy Halloween from The Best Wrestler Alive 🎃,” he wrote.

Even though Max Caster is no longer under AEW’s banner, he is immensely talented and can potentially tear up the independent circuit. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him. Tony Khan could re-sign him someday.

Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Max Caster is taking a break from wrestling

Max Caster got fired by TNA after wrestling only one match for them. This was because of his controversial rap during his Slammiversary 2026 entrance. The 37-year-old recently revealed that he will take a break from wrestling for a long time and will go to therapy.

“A lot of people were excited to watch TNA for the first time or come back to the product, and now a lot of people are disappointed that I’m not on the show. Thank you guys here at ACW for welcoming me. For that, I say, I love you and thank you. I don’t know what my next move is. I don’t know where I’ll be, but I will be stepping away from the ring for an extended period of time. I’m gonna go home, I’m gonna go to therapy, I’m gonna get it right so that the next time I’m in the ring it feels like I’m at home,” he said.

Only time will tell what the future holds for Caster.
