The arrival of Naples Beach Club has also upped the town’s restaurant game—until now only a handful of options down on Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South, or at the nearby Ritz-Carlton, Naples, which under-went a renovation in 2023. At the flamingo -wallpapered Merchant Room, which feels like a tropical brasserie, James Beard Award winner Gavin Kaysen oversees a steakhouse-style menu, while seafood-centric HB’s serves shrimp cocktails and oyster platters on the sand.
Life here happens on the beach, of course, and the coastline is the best vantage point for getting to know Naples. Take out the property’s resident boat Bella from the Hamilton Harbor Yacht Club for a view of the Port Royal mega-mansions and a chance at dolphin spotting. Do as we did and visit in the spring, before the temps rise and the rains arrive. Happily, though, the Gulf Coast sunsets here will glow all year round.
