Arsenal are prepared to revive their pursuit of Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz when the transfer window reopens in January, according to The Mirror.

The Turkey international was a top target for the Gunners last summer, but the Bianconeri made it clear that he was not for sale at any price.

Yildiz has since endured an injury-plagued season with the Bianconeri. He suffered a broken foot in August and has yet to recover fully.

He is expected to return in mid-December, but this has not stopped speculation that the Gunners could return for him this winter.

Manager Mikel Arteta will be backed with funds to strengthen the attack in January as the Gunners chase a Premier League and Champions League double.

Bournemouth‘s Junior Kroupi is reportedly the number one target, but it is claimed that Yildiz is also on the club’s shortlist for the winter transfer window.

Both players are likely to cost at least Â£100m apiece.
