Arsenal preparing winter move for German striker

Arsenal are prepared to make an approach for Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi during the winter transfer window, according to The Sun.

The German has had a fine start to the campaign with the Pro League champions, and he has already netted nine goals in all competitions.

His progress has caught the eye of the Gunners, who were monitoring him last season alongside Christos Tzolis. The latter signed for them last summer.

Tresoldi has also been linked with AC Milan in Serie A, given he is a boyhood fan of them, but the Gunners could have a clear advantage.

Brugge are likely to hold out for at least £42m to part ways with the 22-year-old. Arsenal should be able to make such a huge outlay this winter.

The same can’t be said about the Rossoneri, who committed £60m to land Goncalo Ramos last summer and don’t plan to spend big on another striker.

Tresoldi’s arrival at Arsenal could lead to Viktor Gyokeres‘ exit. The Swede has yet to start a Premier League game for the Gunners this term.
