Arsenal suffered a major injury blow during the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on the road on Wednesday.
The Gunners have had a fantastic start to the campaign, but they recently lost winger Christos Tzolis due to a hamstring injury.
The club have now suffered another setback with Bukayo Saka sustaining a quadriceps injury early on against Bayern.
Saka was soon replaced by Eberechi Eze, who went on to score the opening goal for the Gunners with a brilliant strike.
Eze had a dismal outing against Nottingham Forest last weekend, and he was subbed off and replaced by Noni Madueke at half-time.
Madueke returned to the left wing against Bayern, but Saka’s injury meant he moved to the right with Eze on the left flank.
Saka’s injury proved a blessing for Eze. It remains to be seen how long Saka will be sidelined after the untimely concern.
