Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres continued his bright start to the Nations League campaign with another strong performance for Sweden.
The 28-year-old has had a tough start to the season with the Gunners, and he has played just 29 minutes for the Gunners in the Premier League.
This has not hampered his role with the national side. He started against Romania recently and scored the winning goal in a 2-1 victory.
Against Poland yesterday, he had a tough start to the game and he was barely existent during the opening half. However, he stepped up after the interval and scored the third goal (3-1 win) with a splendid cushioned volley.
Gyokeres has now scored in back-to-back matches for Sweden after his struggles at Arsenal. He will be hoping to continue the good form in the next two Nations League matches.
Arsenal may also benefit from his good run. Kai Havertz recently picked up a hamstring injury and Gyokeres could be called upon to lead the line in the league game against Leeds United.
