Formula 1 heads to the United States this weekend for the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, which has become a firm favourite on the calendar since its inaugural race in 2012.
Austin is one of three F1 events to be staged in the US, with Miami hosting a grand prix in May and Las Vegas holding a night race in November.

From Indianapolis, Watkins Glen and Long Beach, to the streets of Dallas and the Caesars Palace car park, we take a look back at some of the best images from the 11 US cities and towns to stage an F1 race.
