A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a man in Dungannon, County Tyrone, and the attempted murder of two other people in the same incident.

The body of the dead man, who was 61, was found alongside his injured eight-year-old daughter at a house on Lisnahull Road on Saturday morning,

The man’s 48-year-old wife sustained non-life threatening injuries during the attack.

The teenage boy, who has also been charged with making threats to kill, is due to appear before Omagh Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
